Pediatric vest FIX-T-01 is a two-piece dynamic trunk vest: front part with zipper and back part with 3 options of support. The vest stabilizes the kid’s trunk and improves the proprioception skills.

How does it work?
The vest consists of two parts. First, front part, is always the same and you can attach to it the back part that may provides various levels of support. The front part is equipped with zipper and Velcro straps and closures: shoulder and crotch straps and side closures. This design provides maximum adjustment and perfect fitting.
The front part is made of thin colorful ActivePren™.
Our pediatric vest FIX-T-01 with back panel MEMORYcast™ provides perfect spinal stabilization in both: sagittal and frontal planes, reducing side bending of the spine. Due to this fact, our vest is an excellent products in case of orthopedic disorders.
Constant compression of neoprene vest FIX-T-01 maintains body temperature and warmth and has buoyancy function. Due to this fact, it is recommended for using in hydrotherapy and other water activities, but it is not to be used as a life preserver!
Back panel is offered in 4 options:
I – COMPRESSION
In ‘compression’ option, the back panel is made of thin, ventilated UniPren™ which maintains the body temperature, reduces pain and improves healing. What is more, the compression provides proprioceptive input that is necessary in case of neurological disorders.
II – MILD SUPPORT
In ‘mild support’ option, our back panel is also made of thin, ventilated UniPren™, but it is equipped with special pockets where you can put malleable aluminum stays. They can be shaped according to kid’s needs. The vest provides essential compression and improves proprioceptive sensation and also stabilizes and supports the paraspinal muscles.
III – HIGH SUPPORT
In “high support” the back panel is of innovative material MEMORYcast™.
IV – HIGH FRONTAL SUPPORT
In “high frontal support” the back panel is of innovative material MEMORYcast™.
Aluminum stays are made of a special aluminum alloy that guarantees proper stiffness with minimal weight. They have rounded ends to prevent the damage of the product and come in various widths and thicknesses. The level of stabilization of the orthopedic device is defined by proper selection of the width and thickness of the aluminum stays. The stays can be pre-profiled or flat. They do not adapt to the shape of the patient's body, an individual adjustment of the orthosis is required by proper bending of the aluminum stays in the product. Thanks to this function, it is possible to correct the position of the patient's body or the secured joint.
MEMORYcast™ is a special thermoplastic panel for heat molding. The panel has the same properties as rigid nylon and softens when temperature is approx. 60° C. It’s very easy to do that, there is enough to place the brace in hot water or microvawe. Our thermoplastic panel is safe and biodegradable. Contrary to ordinary plaster cast, high plasticity of MEMORYcast™ allows to heat and mold it many times according to doctor’s recommendations.
ActivePren™ is an active three-layer material consisting of two elastic jersey cover fabrics and a core made of neoprene foam. This material is characterized by softness and high flexibility. A very important advantage of this material is the fact that it is not a knitted product, it does not have thick fibers, so that the weaves of the material do not imprint on the patient's skin and do not cause abrasionsin places of high compression. Products made of ActivePren are the strongest and most effective stabilizing orthoses available on the market.
UniPren™ is a universal 3-layer material consisting of an external elastic polyamide cover knit with a self-adhesive function, an internal neoprene foam core and an elastic jersey cover knit. This material is characterized by softness and very high flexibility. A very important advantage of this material is the fact that it is not a knitted product, it does not have thick fibers, so that the weaves of the material do not imprint on the patient's skin and do not cause abrasionsin places of high compression. Products made of UniPren™ are the strongest and most effective stabilizing orthoses available on the market. Self-adhesive function, the raw material makes it much easier to use.
